E-bike charging station

Enjoy a cool drink, a coffee or a snack in the Ristis mountain restaurant while you charge your e-bike at the charging station directly behind the Berglodge Ristis.

In the Brunni area you can explore different bike routes, for mountain or road bikes. From Engelberg up to Ristis you take the tarmac road. To go further up to Brunnihut SAC you have to follow a dirt road. This one is a little bit more ambitious, the last bit is a bit steep. If you like to start at Ristis, the cable car transports your bike up to Ristis. There's no bike transportation on the chairlift.

Engelberg - Bergli - Ristis

The way over "Bergli" is shorter but a bit more steep.

Engelberg - Schwand - Ristis

This way is a little bit longer then along "Bergli" but a bit more flat.

Ristis - Rigidalalp - Brunnihut SAC

The dirt road starts at Rigidalalp. The last part before the Brunnihütte SAC is quite steep.

Good to know

Although there is a ban for vehicles without a permit on the road from Schwand to the Brunni hut SAC, the road is still used by residents and agricultural vehicles. Please be aware of the oncoming traffic and drive carefully on the tarmac road from Engelberg to Ristis! 

If you go mountainbiking please take care of the belongings of others and the farmers. Close the fences after biking through.
