DATA PROTECTION

If customers communicate their personal information to us, we are obliged to treat it as confidential and, specifically, to only use it as the customer instructs. If we are required to process data relating to business transactions (e.g. purchases in an online shop), the customer’s personal information will only be collected, transferred and stored in his/her own computer system. When we conduct business in cooperation with external service providers, the contractual terms and conditions are defined in accordance with the Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz). If external service providers are involved in providing our services, we will monitor and supervise them to ensure that the principles of correct data use are observed in their work for us. All our employees are obliged to protect data in accordance with Section 5 of the Federal Data Protection Act. Data is also protected via a special access rights management system.
