Schönenboden-Trail

This trail also starts at Berglodge Restaurant Ristis. From there the path leads west, past the valley station of the chairlift, along the winter hiking trail towards Schwand. After approx. 1 km you climb up towards the highest point of the trail, enjoying the view of Engelberg. 

Then it goes slowly down the valley,  through the forest below the Ristis, back to the winter hiking trail "Schneetandliweg" to Ristis. This trail is a little more demanding than the alp hut Rigidal trail, possible in both directions.
