Benediktus trail

 

The Benedictine way connects Engelberg abbey with the Maria Rickenbach convent.The route takes hikers on a journey through varied scenery and provides a wonderful panoramic view of the valley and mountains. 

 

The trail takes you from Engelberg abbey to Ristis, pass Walenalp, and down to Oberrickenbach. The track continues on to Brändlen, Alpboden and finally Niederrickenbach, where you can take the cable car back down into the valley.
